社会意识形态与外国小说翻译转换策略——以Uncle Tom's Cabin三个中译本为例

Title The Influence of Ideology on Translation of Foreign Novels——A Case Study of Three Chinese Versions of Uncle Tom’s Cabin

本文以外国小说译介过程中译者的翻译转换策略为切入点,以Uncle Tom’s Cabin三个产生于不同历史文化背景下的中译本为研究对象,通过对比不同历史阶段即不同意识形态下译本所采用的翻译转换策略的异同,试图分析社会意识形态对外国小说翻译转换策略以及翻译过程中"改写"方式的影响。

Through looking into the translation strategies adopted by three translators of three different historical periods in their translation of the culturally-loaded words in Uncle Tom’s Cabin, this paper tries to analyze the effects of ideology on the translating strategies as well as “rewriting”strategies of the translated novels.
