高职高专公共英语教学难点分析

The analysis of the difficulty in vocational English teaching of colleges

由于近年来的高校大跃进导致的学生录取率的急剧增加,导致的学生智力水平、知识水平、学习能力等方面的相对下降。另一方面由于近十年来我们在认识问题上的偏差,我们的高职高专院校在整个高等教育发展上始终处于一种配角的地位,由此导致我们的大学英语教材编写、大学英语的教学理念等等方面,存在很大的与学生、与市场脱节的问题。这些都给新时期高职高专院校的大学英语教学提出了新的挑战。

College admission rate has been higher and higher in recent years, so the levels of college students’ intelligence quotient and the ability of accepting knowledge are getting lower and lower. On the other hand, we have prejudiced opinions on vocational higher education,vocational college teaching is on the verge of the whole higher education, so vocational English textbook’s compilation and system of teaching ideas are not related tightly to the college students and the demands of society. Thus, we must meet the challenges of vocational college English teaching in new times.
