The electrotechnics course is an important professional basic course and is offered widely by most engineering professions in the colleges and universities. Teaching methods of electrotechnics course are multiple. Research teaching method is a kind of method which sees the students as main and has inspiring spirit and pioneering significance. This paper discusses the use of research teaching method in the electrotechnics course, introduces the specific content of research teaching method, lists the Implementation steps of research teaching method, analyzes the application cases in the electrotechnics course of research teaching method, at last summarizes the significance of application of research teaching method in the electrotechnics course.
