This paper discusses the love theme of the romantic poet Byron’s masterpiece "Don Juan". Through the analysis of the long poem road of the master in the pursuit of love and freedom: in the cruel reality, the true spirit and flesh combination of love and freedom is always "fish and bear's paw can not have both"; the love only based on carnal is the chains of free soul, only higher than the love of the body the soul is free and method. In order to reveal the offbeat love view of Byron: freedom is more than love. It is only with the heart of love is the end-result of soul and flesh, to truly be free.
