花木兰是中国传统文化中的一个传奇女性形象,其代父从征的故事千百年来一直流传在世人心中。美国著名动画公司迪斯尼以中国传统经典故事《花木兰》为蓝本,塑造了一位全新的女英雄形象。另一部女英雄题材的卡通电影《芭比之三剑客》,虽在故事情节、主题上与电影《木兰》有几分相似,但根植与不同的文化背景两部影片折射了不同的家庭观,英雄观和婚姻观。

Hua Mulan is a legendary female in Chinese traditional culture.Based on the Chinese traditional classical story Mulan,Disney company has shaped a great heroine image of loyalty and filial piety.Another American cartoon film Barbie and the Three Musketeers bearing somewhat similarity in plot and theme with film Mulan reflect different cultural values in family,heroism and marriage.
