摘要
语言与文化紧密联系,语言是文化的载体,反映文化的特征。词汇是语言的基本单位,影响着英语听、说、读、写能力的形成。高职英语词汇教学的现状是教师教会学习拼读单词、讲解单词的意义,举例说明单词的用法,教师较少联系单词的文化内涵进行教学,造成了学生词汇量不少,但是在具体的情境运用困难或者错误运用。在词汇教学中联系目标语的文化背景进行教学能有效地解决这一问题。
Language and culture are closely related,language is the carrier of culture,reflecting the cultural characteristics.Vocabulary is the basic unit of language,affects the formation of English listening,reading,writing,speaking.The current situation of higher vocational English vocabulary teaching is teaching learning spelling words,explain the meaning of the words,to illustrate the usage of the words,teachers less associated words cultural connotation,causes the student’s vocabulary are a lot,but difficulties or errors using in the specific situation.Contact the cultural background of target language in vocabulary teaching can effectively solve this problem.
