摘要
由于社会文化的差异,不同国家的人在跨文化交际中会经常语用失误,导致交际失败。鉴于托马斯(1983)将语用失误分类,本文首先分析中西文化交际中的语用失误及潜在因素,其次会提出避免语用失误,提高英语学习者交际能力的几点建议。旨在英语教学中唤起学生的交际文化意识,培养学生良好的英语学习习惯。
Due to the social and cultural differences,people from different cultural backgrounds would always encounter pragmatic failure in crosscultural communication,which may lead to the failure of communication. This article firstly analyzes the types of pragmatic failure and the underlying factors,and then the article will explore some strategies to avoid the pragmatic failure and improving English study learners’ communication competence in light of Thomas’(1983) classification.
