Research and training of metacognitive strategies of university English listening

本研究通过问卷调查和访谈了解理工院校大学英语学生在听力学习中元认知策略的使用情况,并探讨元认知策略与英语听力水平之间的关系,旨在引起广大师生重视元认知策略在听力学习能力培养中的重要性。同时在教学过程中嵌入有效的元认知策略培训,指导听力课堂教学,监督学习者网络环境下的课外自主性听力学习,从而帮助学生全面提高语言综合运用能力。

The study through questionnaires and interviews to understand the use of metacognitive strategies in listening of English students in the science and engineering college,and to explore the relationship between metacognitive strategies and English listening level,in order to attract attention to the importance of metacognitive strategies in listening learning ability.At the same time,embedded in the process of teaching the effective metacognitive strategy training,guide the listening classroom teaching supervise the extracurricular autonomous listening learning under the network environment,to help students improve the comprehensive ability of using language.
