摘要
语境对于言语意义有着限制、约束、扩充、丰富等作用。对语言的学习离不开对语境的学习。传统的口语教学模式脱离了语境,只注重词汇、句型的讲解和操练,造成学生语用能力的欠缺。而在真实语境中的口语教学,由于采用大量真实的语料,模拟真实的英语使用环境,能大大提高学生的语言能力和语用能力,因而受到越来越多语言学家和教育工作者的认同。
The importance of context in oral English teaching is traditionally overlooked. Teachers usually pay great attention to the explanation and practice of the key words, phrase and sentence patterns in a decontextualized situation. It may help to enhance students’ linguistic competence, but does no good to their pragmatic competence. Teaching oral English with authentic linguistic datas in real-life context could help students improve both linguistic competence and pragmatic competence.
