受日本私小说的影响,中国和韩国现代文学文坛上都出现了所谓的"身边小说"这种题材的小说。中国"身边小说"的主要代表性作家是郁达夫,而韩国文坛上,"身边小说"写作特征最为明显的作家当属玄镇键。郁达夫和玄镇健在创作倾向上都表现出写实主义的风格,两者又都受过自然主义思潮的影响,在创作上表现出许多相似性。

Affected by the private novel in Japan, China and South Korea appear the so-called"side novel"in modern literary circle. The main representative writer of"Chinese side novel"is Yu Da-fu, while Xuan Zhen Jian in Korean literary world. Yu Da-fu and Xuan ZhenJian show the realistic style in creation tendency, both affected by the thought of naturalism, show many similarities in the creation.
