关于高职院校ESP教学的思考

ESP teaching in higher vocational colleges

ESP(English for Specific Purpose)是一门使学习者实现英语知识和技能专门化的应用型课程。本文通过对ESP与高职教学的探究,得出ESP教学对高职英语教学起着十分重要的作用,全面分析了高职ESP教学方面的成功经验以及存在的问题和面临的挑战,建议学校采用适当教学模式,进一步推进高职高专英语教学改革。

ESP (English for Specific Purpose) is the applied course to make learners realize the knowledge and skills of English specialized. In this paper, through research of ESP and teaching in higher vocational colleges, the ESP teaching plays a very important role in college English teaching, comprehensively analyzes the successful experience and the existing problems and challenges of higher vocational ESP teaching, with appropriate teaching model, to further promote the reform in college English.
