抗战时期香港大学与内地大学互助史略

A Brief History of the Mutual aid Between the University of Hong Kong and Mainland Universities During the Anti-Japanese War

1938年广州沦陷后,私立岭南大学被迫停办,毗邻的香港大学欣然同意岭大借其校舍复课,并提供了一系列无私帮助。三年后,香港沦陷,大批香港大学学生逃往内地。在国民政府的支持下,十多所内地大学竞相伸出援手,接纳港大学生借读。在烽火连年、动荡不安的抗战岁月,两地大学之间的真情互助最大限度地保存了各自的办学实力,加强了两地高校的合作和感情,谱写了世界战争史上跨区域校际互助的光辉篇章。

After the fall of Guangzhou in 1938,Lingnan University was forced to close down,The University of Hong Kong was pleased to agree Lingnan University to resume classes by using their classrooms,and provided a series of selfless help.Three years later,after the fall of Hong Kong,a large number of students of the University of Hong Kong fled to the mainland.In support of the National Government,more than ten mainland universities competed to lend a helping hand to accept these students as transient students.During the continuous and turbulent war,the truth of mutual aid between the universities of mainland and Hong Kong was very useful to preserve the strength of the universities, the cooperation and feelings between the universities also increased,a glorious chapter about cross- regional intercollegiate cooperation in the history of World War was written.
