The development of digital publishing has brought profound influence on traditional publishing,re-sulting in unprecedented challenges and opportunities for the development of university journals. After analyz-ing the current situation of periodical digital publishing in China,this paper discusses the necessity and feasibili-ty about the digital publishing transformation of university journals. It maintains that in the background of pub-lishing system reform,our thought system,competence and marketing mode shall be adjusted to meet the re-quirements.
