长期卧床老年患者留置尿管感染的原因及护理对策

Cause and nursing strategy of urinary tract infection of long-termed bedridden senile patients with urinary catheter

留置尿管是大多数长期卧床老年患者护理的必要操作,而长期留置尿管是导致尿路感染及相关并发症的原因之一。其中,尿管型号过大、固定或冲洗不正确、基础疾病治疗不当等都是增加尿路感染发生率的重要原因。因此,应从尿管选取、置管操作及护理等方面改进,以减少留置尿管的长期卧床老年患者的尿路感染发生率。

Indwelling catheter is the critical operation for most of long-term bedridden patients. However,long-term indwelling catheter is one of the factors leading to urinary tract infection and subsequent complication. Oversize of urinary catheter,improper catheter fixation or flushing and inappropriate therapy for basic disease are important factors for increasing incidence of urinary tract infection. So improvement of urinary catheter selection,indwelling catheter operation and nursing strategy should be emphasized and this will be useful to reduce urinary tract infection of long-term bedridden senile patients with urinary catheter.
