摘要 教师专业标准的制定和实施是各国促进教师专业发展、提高教育教学质量的一项重要举措。比较美国外语教师专业标准的体系、内容和我国正在制订的中小学英语教师专业等级标准的设计理念及框架内容,提出美国外语教师专业标准对我国的启示,以期为进一步研制完善我国的基础教育外语教师专业标准提供参考。 The development and implementation of professional standards for teachers is an important measure for countries to promote teachers' professional development and improve the quality of education. This paper attempts to analyze the content and system of foreign language teachers' professional standards in America,together with the concepts and the framework of primary and secondary school English teachers' professional standard being drawn up in China. By drawing comparisons,the paper puts forward the idea that China can borrow valuable experience of that of the United States in order to further develop and improve our basic education so as to better improve China's foreign language teacher professional standards.
