摘要 在外语的学习过程中,口语的表达能力给予了优先的考虑和强调,而同样作为衡量学习者语言表达能力的书面语却没有得到应有的重视。事实上,书面语表达能力的高低更能体现出学习者运用语言的综合素质和本领。本文旨在探讨读与写的相互关系,进而指出两者结合的理论基础及其可行性,最终得出"以读促写,以写促学"的良性循环方式有利于提高大学生英语书面语表达能力的结论,对于外语教学有一定的实用价值。 In the process of learning a foreign language, priority and emphasis have been given to oral communication skills, while written language as the equally important language skill did not receive the attention it deserves. Actually, written language skills can better re-flect the learners' overall ability of language use. This paper aims to explore the relationship between reading and writing;points out the theoretical basis and the feasibility of the combination;draws a conclusion that"promote writing by reading, learning by writing"will help improve students' communication skills by using written English and has some practical value for foreign language teaching.
