Development and Experimentation of Excellent Tourist Destinations Assessment System from Global Perspective

在全球旅游业迅猛发展的推进下,众多不同类型的旅游目的地都在努力实现卓越,以提升其竞争力地位并实现可持续发展。本文从功能定位、类型划分、指标确立、流程设计4个角度分析了世界优秀目的地中心所构建的优秀旅游目的地评价系统的发展,并基于全球7个重要旅游目的地的全面性应用进行了实践检验,对该系统的指导原则、作用方式和实施障碍以及旅游目的地的评价结果进行了比较。世界优秀旅游目的地评价系统的价值取向日益聚焦于可持续旅游和可实现旅游,致力提升全球不同类型旅游目的地管理的综合竞争力,具有较好的借鉴价值与发展前景。

Driven by the rapid development of global tourism industry,different types of tourist destinations are in the effort to achieve excellence in order to enhance their competitiveness for sustainable development. From four aspects namely,functional orientation,type classification,index selection and process design,the authors made an analysis of the development of excellent destination assessment system by World Centre of Excellence for Destinations,and did an experimental test based on the systematic application at seven major global tourist destinations to compare the guiding principles, action mode,barriers to implementation,as well as tourist destinations ' assessment results. value orientations of world excellent tourist destination assessment systems gradually focus on sustainable and feasible tourism in the effort to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of different types of global tourism destination management. Therefore,it proves good reference value and development prospect.
