Uygur folk art is an important part of traditioanal Chinese culture and art. The patterns or shapes objects found in Uygur art are abundant and extensive. This paper attempts to analyse five of the features of this art: The pracaticality of the objects; The usage of these shapes objects from past to present; The symbolic shapes; The abstract shaping and the ideal shapes.
