Musical Elements of Xinjiang in Opera “Zan Yuan”

歌剧《苍原》是中国歌剧发展历程中一部重要作品。本文一方面通过对该剧剧情与史书记载的相关联系来印证它与我国新疆历史的紧密联系,另一方面以音乐元素为主要对象,通过对剧中主要人物舍楞的咏叹调音乐分析,证明了该剧音乐中典型的新疆地区柯尔克孜族音乐形态。

The Opera 'Zan Yuan' is an important works in the course of Chinese opera development. According to the existing achievements of 'Zan Yuan', the research on Mongolian history and culture as well as the related research beyond Mongolian musical elements are relatively weak. This paper proves this opera is closely linked with China's Xinjiang history through the plot and relevant historical records. On the other hand, using musical elements as the main object, it proves the music in this opera is typical Kirgiz music forms of Xinjiang region through analysis of the main characters Lenz's arias.
