数词在英汉语中都是一种重要词类,汉语中数词应用较之英语更为广泛。几乎所有英语中的数词应用都能在汉语中找到对应。当汉语中某种表达方式在英语里缺失时,译者需用意译的手法进行转换。因此,准确、灵活地把握数词在英汉语中的应用有着至关重要的意义。

The numeral is an important word-class in Chinese and English.The application of the numeral in Chinese is more than that in English.Almost all numerals in English can find the related ones in Chinese.If there is no related expression in Chinese to the one in English,the translator should communicate in free translation.Therefore,it is of great importance in accurate,flexible usage of numerals in both Chinese and English language.
