林译小说在中国近代文学翻译史上有着重要的地位。近年来,翻译研究领域所取得的新成果为林译小说的研究注入了新的活力,但对其文体却鲜有学者研究。深入林译小说文体的本质,从接受美学角度对其形成进行了阐释,指出林译小说文体与译者、译文读者及当时的接受环境三大因素的密切关系。

Lin Shu's translation of novels have great importance in modern Chinese translation history.New achievements in translation studies inject vitality to the study of Lin's translations yet his translation style has almost remained untouched.The paper illustrates the stylistic features that characterize his translations,and then offers an explanation of the formation of such style from the perspective of receptive aesthetic.
