残疾人社会工作是专业社会工作者以残疾人及其家庭为案主对象,运用社会工作专业方法,以协助残疾人克服自身生理心理障碍,合理利用社会资源,平等参与社会生活的过程,其本质是社会工作专业方法在残疾人工作中具体的渗透与介入。基于社会工作实务的通用过程模式,残疾人社会工作实务应包括接案、预估、计划、介入、评估、结案这一系列结构化的过程。残疾人社会工作实务具有专业性和服务性相结合,助人性与保护性相结合,个体性与社会性相结合的特点。
