In the 'The Order of Things',Michel Foucault has studied the order and history of words and things,which reveals a 'non-continuous,broken' intellectual history.This paper tries to give a cultural interpretation of the form and meaning demonstrated in the course of separation of words and things along the directions of Foucault.
