摘要
本文通过剖析汉语公示语英译问题中的母语干扰现象,对比分析汉语公示语翻译中的两种语言现象:中国英语和中式英语,指出以规范英语为核心的、具有汉式特色的、能够充分发挥交际功能的中国英语是汉语公示语英译的重要补充和发展,应得到国际社会的认同和接受。
This paper examines the interference of Chinese language and culture in the English translation of public signs with the comparison between the two different versions of English translation of public signs: Chinese English and Chinglish. The author puts forward that Chinese English could be acceptable which is in accordance with the Standard English and Chinese culture as well, and it will play a very important role in the development of English language variations. Therefore communication among human could be made more effectively.
