On the Tendency of Educational Globalization and Development of Private Higher Education in China

面对教育全球化进程,面对中国入世后对教育服务贸易的承诺,中国教育体制和教育发展既面临着向现代化转型的历史机遇,同时也面临着严峻的挑战。教育全球化对中国传统教育观念、中国教育市场以及中国教育结构等方面所产生的冲击,给中国私立高等教育发展提出了必须应对的策略。

Faced with educational globalization and the commitment to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in educational service, China is confronted with a historic opportunity and challenge to reform in the aspects of educational modernization system and development. This paper analyzes the impact of such a global tendency on traditional Chinese values in educational market and structure, and puts forward counterstrategy of the development of the private higher education in China.
