Implementation of Advantage-Promoting Education in Chinese Teaching in Schools for the Deaf

扬长教育从"道人之长,越道越长"这一教育原理出发,发现并挖掘学生身上的积极因素和独特优势,扬长促全、扬长创新。在素质教育改革不断深化的今天,聋生同样需要提高整体素质,他们的能力同样是以多元方式存在的,我们教师可以探索让每个聋生都得到最优发展的规律,并为此创设各种条件,让聋生在其中发现、发展、展示其能力优势,开发其潜能,张扬其个性,使其不仅能独立谋生,并能在谋生过程中,实现自身的最大价值。

Originating from the education theory of "the more praise, the more advantages", advantage-promoting education aims to discover positive aspects and unique advantages in students to promote their all-around development and creativity. With the deepening of reform of education for all-round development, it is also necessary for the deaf students to improve their all-around ability, which exists in various ways. Teachers are supposed to maximize the students′ development and create corresponding environment to make them discover, develop and exhibit their abilities and advantages, demonstrate their individual character, and finally to make their living and give full play to their life.
