E.M.Forster's A Passage to India embraces many transnational and cross-culture issues in its literary elements of plot and portrayal of Indian life and more in his attitude towards colonialism and his action approaching India. The cultural value of his literary writing is proved in the framework of F. Poyatos'literary anthropology;how and why he shifts his ground from the West to the East or limited midway is tested in light of Said's anti-Orientalism.
