Language and Form:The Cores of Adorno's Literary Theory

就阿多诺的文学思想而言,我们"既不能从他的美学理论中来推演他的批评实践,也不能从他的批评实践中来推演他的文学思想。"但是,从他所持有的文化立场这个角度来看,阿多诺的批评实践在一些基本问题上与其美学思想还是一脉相承的,并始终贯彻着他的"反系统传统"或"反艺术"的精神。在他的文学思想体系中,除了艺术与社会之间的关系继续受到重视外,文学作品中的语言、形式及其之间的关系也受到了特别的关注。本文着重扼要评介和分析了阿多诺"作为形式的随笔"和"外来词"两篇文章中有关语言与形式的问题,即阿多诺文学思想的核心问题。

In terms of Adorno's literary theory,we can'neither deduce his critical practice from his aesthetic theory nor his aesthetic theory from his critical practice.'However,from his cultural position,Adorno's critical practice is coherent with his aesthetic theory,and with the spirit of his counter tradition or counter art.In his literary critical system,besides the relationship be- tween art and society,language and form are particularly stressed.The author of this paper briefly analyzes and evaluates Adorno's thinking on language and form in his two important essays—'The Essay as Form'and'Words from Abroad'.
