Reflections on Henry James Studies in the New Period of China

亨利·詹姆斯是英美现代主义文学的开拓者之一,在文学史上具有十分特殊的意义。新时期我国的詹姆斯研究取得了比较丰富的成果。本文试图通过对这些成果的反思性回顾与辨析,从总体上把握我国的詹姆斯研究状况,并比照西方的研究成果,审视我们在这个研究领域中存在的问题,进而探讨今后的研究走势。

Henry James is one of the forerunners of Anglo-American modernism and he embraces special significance in literary history.In the New Period, Chinese scholars have done a great deal of research work in the study of Henry James.The present paper is an attempt to review the publications of Henry James studies in the New Period of China and,by taking the western academic achievements as reference,to bring forth some suggestions for future research in this field.
