The contemporary British poet Keston Sutherland's'Tourture Lite'reveals the Anglo-American bourgeois indirectly instigating the hegemony and imperialism of the capitalist government.The poem is tremendously dense and suggestive,with various means of contextualization,and conducts trenchant criticism of the Anglo-American bourgeois,their aestheticization of violence, as well as colonization of the English language.The language strategy and experimental gesture of the poem are important features of the postmodern poetry.
