水库诱发地震的力学分析

Mechanics analysis of induced earthquake in Three Gorges Project area

本文试以三峡工程能否诱发水库地震为例，通过理论分析和计算对水库诱发地震问题进行解答，进而证明三峡工程发生水库诱发地震的可能性不大。

Whether the Three Gorges Project will induce reservoir earthquakes is taken as an example in this paper. Theoretical analysis and computation are conducted to make a response to the question about whether the Three Gorges reservoir will induce earthquakes to which people are paying a great deal of attention. The results show that the possibility for the Three Gorges reservoir to induce earthquakes is small.
