An Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Penetrating Ballistics of APDS Cartridges

该文在简要介绍12.7mm钨芯脱壳穿甲枪弹和54式12.7mm穿甲燃烧枪弹的弹丸结构特性和外弹道特性的基础上,着重叙述了钨芯脱壳穿甲枪弹对均质钢板的侵彻现象及特点,提供了钨芯脱壳穿甲枪弹侵彻均质钢板时,高速摄影及闪光X射线所拍摄的侵彻弹道的物理图象及有关试验数据,并对钨芯脱壳穿甲枪弹的燃烧作用机理进行了简要的分析.

This paper first briefly introduces the bullet structure characteristics andexternal ballistic characteristics of 12.7 mm wolfram core APDS cartidges and 12.7 mm Type 54 API cartridges,and then expounds emphatically the penetratingphenomenon and characteristics of 12.7m wolfram core APDS cartridgespenetrating for the homogeneous bulletproof steel plate,gives physical picturesphotographed by both flash X-ray and the high-speed camera and experiment data of12.7 mm wolfram core APDS cartridges penetrating for the homogeneousbulletproof steel plate,and finally makes a brief analysis for the burnning actionmechanism of 12. 7 mm wolfram core APDS cartridges.
