Inclusiveness is the main driving force of cultural innovation and development. Nowadays, under the background of globalization, inclusiveness has become the prerequisite for harmonious coexistence among the human world. In traditional Chinese culture and thoughts, there have existed abundant cultural resources relating to inclusiveness. This is specifically embodied in the emphasis on cultural pluralism and openness throughout society and the advocating of 'the doctrine of the mean' as the life wisdom for individuals from the moral perspective. The Chinese 'inclusive development' in the future will have an important cultural mission, which is to abide by the social development concept of equality and justice, ensure full participation of the people in social reform and innovation, and make the achievements of social development benefit all people.
