On the Problem of Population Aging——2013 Investigation Report on How Chinese Young People Expect of Their Old-age Life

本次问卷调查旨在研究18～35岁群体对老年生活的预期、影响老年预期的因素,以及当前行为选择中考虑养老因素的程度。调查发现,对经济、社会发展越有信心的受访者,对自己老年生活幸福程度的预期越高;养老制度和老年产业发展也对老年生活预期有正向影响;人们在就业、移民等方面考虑养老因素的程度显著地受经济发展、社会稳定预期等因素的影响。应着力解决养老体系存在的问题,缓解公众的养老焦虑,提升长线信心。

This survey is designed to study how the group of people aged between 18 and 35 years old expect their life will be like when they get old. According to the survey, the more confident the respondents are about the economic and social development, the higher their expectation of happiness in their later years; the pension system and the development of the old-age industry also have a positive correlation to the expectation; the degree to which people rely on employment and emigration to support their old-age life is largely dependent on their expectation of economic development and social stability. Efforts should be made to solve the existing problems in the pension system, ease people's anxiety over their life in later years and increase their long-term confidence.
