Where It Is Resounding With Songs, Hidden Talents Keep Silent" Sidelines of Jinling School Paintings Exhibition in the United States

2003年9月15日，酝酿许久的南京博物院“金陵画报展”在纽约市华美协进社美术馆、辛辛那提市泰夫特艺术博物馆举办．院长徐湖平专程赴美国参加了开幕式，并开展丁举术交流话动。

The Jiling school of painters refers to the painter group that was active during the 100 years from the 20th year of Emperor Wan Li to the 40th year of Kang Xi at the turn of the Ming and Qing dynasties. In September 2003, the Nanjing Museum selected the best works of the school from its collections and out them on show in the United States for a year. The works include those by such representative painters as Kun Can, Gong Xian, Cheng Zhengkui, Fan Yi,Cai Ze, Wu Hong, Gao Chen, Zou, Chen Zuo, Wu Dan, Hu Zongxin, Guo Cunren and Wei Zhihuang.
