A New Resource for the Manufacture of Natural Methanol

天然甲醇是制备天然麦芽酚、桂酸甲酯等许多重要天然香料的原料,目前主要来源于发酵法制乙醇的头馏分,但由于该头馏分中甲醇含量低、成分复杂,难以分离提纯,无法完全满足市场需要。为寻找可提取甲醇的其他天然产品,经探索发现可从天然冬青油中利用非常简单的方法提取天然甲醇。

Natural methanol is an important natural raw material for the manufacture of natural maltol,methyl cinnamate,etc.However,commonly the main resources for the preparation of these products were top fraction of fermented alcohol,as the content of methanol in this fraction is very low and difficult to separate from its complex substrate,the production couldn’t meet the requirement of market.To find out appropriated natural resources for extracting methanol,we investigated and developed a simple method to get it from natural wintergreen oil.
