Rational Thinking of Renovation of Police Services

近年来,各地公安机关积极探索实施各种警务创新举措,在取得一定社会治安效益的同时,部分举措也引发了争议。警务创新工作应坚持五个基本原则,即以因地制宜为基础、以服务群众为主导、以预防和打击违法犯罪为重点、以理论与实践相结合为依托和以群众路线为源泉。

Over the recent past years,the public security organs in various parts of China have taken initiative in research of renovation of police services,which brings about social security effects as well as some disputes.The analysis of renovation of police services calls for our good grasp of the core elements,our summary of the five basic principles that need to be adhered to in renovation of police services.Namely,renovation of police services should be based on local conditions with service oriented to the people,with the focus on preventing and attacking illegal activities,and reliance on combination of theory and practice as well as the mass line.
