A Discussion on the Practical Teaching of the Police and Media Course in Police Academies

公安院校学生媒体攻关能力明显缺失,难以适应新媒体时代警务实战需要。公安院校《警察与媒体》课程实施实践性教学是新媒体时代公安教育的必然选择,符合公安院校课程建设基本原则。《警察与媒体》课程实践性教学的途径主要有案例教学、课堂讨论、作业训练、观摩训练、模拟演练等。但是,《警察与媒体》课程实施实践性教学亟待解决队伍建设、经费投入和基地建立等问题。

Due to lack of problem-tackling ability,the students in police academies find it hard to adapt themselves to practical policing combat in the new media age.The implementation of the practical teaching of the Police and Media Course in police academies is an inevitable choice for public security education in the new media age,which conforms with the basic principles for curriculum construction in police academies.The primary approaches for practical teaching of the Police and Media Course include case-based teaching,classroom discussion,practical assignments,observation and learning training,simulating operation,etc.However,the implementation of the practical teaching of the Police and Media Course calls for an urgent resolution of such problems as teaching team construction,funds investment and practical base construction and so on.
