Discussion on Education Philosophy of Private University under the New Situation in China

近几年来,社会形势发生了重大变化,这给民办高校发展创造巨大机遇的同时,也导致其进一步发展面临困难。民办高校自主经营,自负盈亏,既具有一定的企业性质,但同时又是为国家培养人才的公益事业。这一身份决定了学校为了解决问题,适应形势,应当树立"经营、服务、发展"的全新理念,从而提升教学质量,提高社会地位。

Social situations have suffered great changes in recent years in China, which creates huge opportunities for the development of private universities , and brings great difficulties for continual development as well. Private Universities not only have the nature of business with the full responsibilities of their own profits and losses , they also train people for the country which is public welfare undertakings. So these universities must have the philosophy of'Operating , Service , Development', and then to solve the problems , fit to the new situation , improve the education quality and social status.
