独立学院专业建设抽检评估的价值与作用

On the Positive Effects of the Evaluation of Independent Colleges' Programs

江苏省开展的独立学院专业建设抽检评估在全国是一个创新举措,为建立独立学院质量保障机制开辟了重要途径。本文从参评学校管理者的角度,对独立学院专业抽检评估的背景和人文价值进行了梳理分析,结合作者参与的相关评估工作的经验,对抽检标准的特点以及发挥被评学院的主体作用的做法进行了分析,并阐明了独立学院专业抽检评估的积极作用,同时提出了进一步改革的建议。

The major inspection and assessment of independent colleges in Jiangsu Province is a new initiative in quality assurance of higher education, is also an important method to establish the quality assurance system of the independent colleges. This paper discusses the background and the positive effects of the evalution from the view of a manager of the college and an evaluator. With the personal observation, this paper analyzes the composition of the index system used in this assessment, and provides an indepth analysis of the standands and the stakeholder-based approach adopted by the evaluation. Both the positive effects and further reforms are also discussed.
