我国人民陪审员制度的完善

Perfection of People Jury System

人民陪审员制度是我国吸收普通公民直接参与司法活动的一种民主形式。"陪而不审"、选任精英化、形式化等弊端导致我国陪审员制度起不到应有作用,应完善立法以保证其法律地位、合理设置陪审员选任程序、健全陪审员管理机制、完善经济保障制度。

Being a kind of democratic form to recruit ordinary citizens into judicial activities,people jury system cannot exert its function due to some abuses including 'Join but not judge',excellentize selection,formal prosecuting responsibilities,etc,we should perfect legislation to ensure its legal status,establish rational jury institution,and strengthen jury management and economic security system.
