党的"十八大"将新型城镇化确立为国家发展战略,新型城镇化不同于传统意义上的城市化。研究在对"城市化"与"城镇化"两个概念进行辨析的基础上,主张在我国现阶段统一使用"城镇化"这一学术术语,并从六个方面对我国"新型城镇化"的概念与特征进行解读,探讨我国走新型城镇化道路的内涵。

Base on the discriminating of urbanization, the paper suggests that the 'urbanization' should been the unitive the academic term. Then, the paper analyzes the new-type urbanization from six ways, discusses its connotation.
