新型城镇化如何健康发展,特别是广大中西部欠发达地区的城镇化道路如何走,是摆在各级政府面前的课题。研究在对我国城镇化发展情况进行归纳和总结的基础上,以湖北省荆州市为例,论述其城镇化发展过程中存在的工业发展、户籍制度改革、基础设施和区域交通建设、特色城镇和小城镇发展等方面的问题和解决方法,探索荆州市新型城镇化的发展道路。

The new-type urbanization develop, especially the developing area of central and western of China should go which way to come true the new-type urbanization, have been the government's discussion. Base on the surmising of China's urbanization, the paper takes Jingzhou, Hubei province as example, analyzes the problem and strategy about industrial development, reform of household registration system, infrastructure and traffic construction, urban with features and small urban development, finds a way to come true new-type urbanization of Jingzhou.
