摘要
当前越来越多的外国留学生选择到我国高校学习汉语。通过对江苏师范大学4名具有代表性短期语言留学生学习动机的个案研究的跟踪访谈,结果发现,不同学习目的以及不同汉语水平的短期留学生的学习动机都会不同程度地受到环境影响,但变化趋势和幅度不一样:具有明确近期学习目标的高分组留学生能够克服环境影响,调节激发自身的学习动机;近期学习目的不明确的低分组留学生的动机很脆弱,受到环境的影响后会逐渐减弱并消失。而优秀的中文教师、高质量的汉语教材以及合理的课内外教学活动安排是提高短期语言留学生学习动机的重要途径和保证。
Currently,growing number of foreign students choose to learn Chinese in Chinese colleges and universities. The present study adopts a qualitative research method-regular interviews to track four different representative individuals of different Chinese level studying in short-term language training class in Jiangsu Normal University. Research results show that learning motivation of short-term oversea students with both different learning purpose and Chinese level( rewarded with either high or low scores) will be influenced by the environment,but vary in direction and width; high score oversea students with clear immediate learning goals tend to overcome the twists and turns and simultaneously adjust their learning motivations spontaneously; while low score oversea students with unclear immediate learning goals have fragile learning motivation,which will weaken or even gradually disappear if influenced by situation. Excellent Chinese teachers,high-quality teaching materials and reasonable teaching arrangements are crucial elements to improve and maintain oversea students' learning motivation.
