Preliminary research on the cultural heritage of the Yanhecheng region in Beijing

在田野调查和文献的基础上,提出了沿河城聚落形态的文化遗产的分类原则和系统,并分析沿河城文化遗产的时空分布和资源价值.沿河城文化遗产相对富集,按照存在形态、空间位置、使用功能可分为16类,类型以聚落外军事遗产为主,分布上呈单一中心、分散分布的格局,时代上以明中期的建筑为主.沿河城地区的文化遗产分布密集、特色鲜明、品位很高.沿河城是研究明代军事、政治、文化不可或缺的模式区域.

A new classification system for the cultural heritage of Yanhecheng region is provided based on field surveys and literature research. The distribution pattern and resource evaluation of this heritage is achieved through a detailed analysis. The cultural heritage of the Yanhecheng region is divided into 16 types based on their existing form,distribution and function. Military cultural heritage dominates the region,which has military buildings related to the Great Wall. These buildings were built mainly in the middle of the Ming Dynasty. The Yanhecheng region is regarded as the standard for research on military,political and cultural events of the Ming Dynasty because of its relatively aggregated,distinctive and high level of cultural heritage.
