近代是中国传统义利思想的转型阶段。以西方资本主义伦理学说的输入为条件,以改造中国传统思想、促成中西伦理思想的融合为途径,近代进步思想家,在接触和吸取西方伦理思想过程中,力图建立起具有鲜明时代特色和民族特色的义利思想。这种义利思想在批判封建纲常伦理、推动资本主义自由发展方面起到了积极作用,奠定了中国社会现代转型的伦理基础。

Modern times is the transformation stage of Chinese righteousness and advantage thought.As the condition of western capitalist ethics said input,as the way of transforming the Chinese traditional ideas and contributing to the fusion of Chinese and western ethical thoughts,modern progressive thinkers tried to establish the thought of righteousness and advantage with distinct era characteristic and ethnic characteristics in the process of contacting and absorbing western ethics. The thought of righteousness and advantage has played a positive role and has laid the ethical base of modern transformation of Chinese society,in the side of criticizing the feudal ethics laws and promoting the development of capitalism.
