摘要
20世纪70年代后,翻译研究兴起了"文化转向"。翻译文化操纵学派认为翻译是特定历史、社会和文化环境中对原文的改写,是一种操纵行为。《亲历历史:希拉里回忆录》是Living History的大陆中译本,原著中涉及中国的部分内容在译著中遭到不同程度的改写。以此为切入点,依据翻译操纵理论,分析《亲历历史:希拉里回忆录》中的改写案例,探究翻译改写背后的成因、改写的手段以及改写结果对原著和译入语读者的影响。
Since the 1970s,translation has taken a cultural turn.The manipulation school believes that translation is rewriting of a specific history,society and culture.In the Chinese translation of Living History,there are large proportions of rewriting on Mrs.Clinton’s sharp remarks about China.This article tries to analyze the cause,the coping strategies of rewriting and its impact on the original work as well as the target language readers.
