Native American ceremonies not only play the important role of passing on Native American creative myths from generation to generation, but also express Native American peoples' belief in the harmonious totality of all beings and forms in the never-ending cycle by ritually recreating these myths, thus enabling the tribal members to integrate themselves into Native traditions and to establish the idea of tribal community. In this sense, ceremonies are the important embodiment of Native American cosmology.
