The landscape planning and ecological construction of rural river in Beijing area is an important component of urban and rural environment construction. Reasonable planning and construction of rural river can make the river play ecological, landscape, recreation and flood control function. The paper explains the necessity and the characteristics of Beijing rural river ecological landscape construction. It analyzes the current construction status of rural rivers in Beijing area and its existing problems. It discusses the principle and technology methods of rural river landscape construction in order to provide reference for the rural river construction in Beijing area and make the river return to its natural vitality.
