植物园是收集、栽培、保存、记录活植物,并具有园林景观的园地;同时开展针对活植物的科学研究和科学普及活动。专业的、普通的、大众的植物园可以有不同的特征,但其基本功能均包括活植物收集和生物多样性保存、活植物的科学研究、植物档案与名牌、多样的植物,自然的群落。
Botanical garden is a place with good landscape for collecting,cultivating,conserving and recording of living plants;meanwhile to conducting scientific research and science education on living plants.There are many types of botanical gardens such as professional,ordinary and popular.Their main duties are collection of living plants,conservation of biodiversity,plant documentary and label,naturalistic population of diverse plants.
